Rooms for Immersive Projection
Our modular stage backdrop system was used to assemble and create the structures for this exit tunnel and the rooms for immersive projection for the LR3 Experience. All of this was carried out by ShowTex Spain for the 30th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion Week.
These immersive projection rooms are the spaces where the LR3 Experience virtual reality takes place. In them, visitors were able to enjoy this unique activity and experience fashion differently.
The tunnel, built with two modular walls, serves as the final exit of the entire route, providing the ideal set of structures (and foundation) for these rooms for immersive projection.
LR3 Experience
It is a journey that merges technology, art, and fashion. This collection focuses on the union and combination of volume, proportions, movement, and colors. The Sant Pau Modernist Site was chosen to host this tour, which brings together the real and virtual worlds in a single activity and experience.
The main color of the experience is orange, as is clearly evident. This color acts as an anchor point between the virtual and real worlds throughout the entire tour. After passing through an orange curtain, visitors enter the first room, a hauntingly aesthetic space lit in orange with whitish smoke suspended in the air. Inside, visitors sit on stools facing the screen, wearing virtual reality goggles to begin this immersive experience.
Next, visitors walk along an orange carpet into the following room, where a plasma screen projects characters wearing garments from the collection. The final room brings the previous one to life, transforming the virtual reality bodies into mannequins suspended in the air, dressed in the same clothes they wore on the screen.
The entire journey ends in an exit tunnel featuring naked bodies printed on the two modular walls.
